HERS ECC Title 24 Group is an independent energy code compliance firm serving 28 Northern and Central California counties from our Sacramento base. We do one thing: verify that buildings meet California’s Energy Code — the testing, the inspections, the reports, and the registry paperwork that turn a finished job into a closed permit.
We don’t install equipment and we don’t sell repairs. Independence is a legal requirement of the rater’s role and the reason our documentation is trusted by building departments across our footprint. Every project we touch is registered in CHEERS, California’s energy code registry.
When the state retired the HERS name and stood up the ECC Program under the 2025 Energy Code, we rebuilt our document workflow around the new requirements from day one — including the consumer transparency forms most of the industry is still catching up to.
