What changed for my document set under the 2025 code?
Documents display “ECC” where they used to display “HERS”; consumer-facing forms (CIF before testing, POR at completion) are now part of every verified project; and rater work carries expanded state QA oversight. The tests your scopes trigger are substantively the ones you know.
Do you deal with my customer directly?
As much or as little as you want. Default: we confirm the appointment window with the occupant, deliver the required consumer forms, and route everything else through your office.
Can you batch multiple jobs?
Yes — send addresses in one message and we’ll route them by region. High-volume shops: call to talk standing windows.
What do you need from us to book?
Address, permit number if pulled, scope (changeout / new ducts / new construction), tonnage and system type, and a site contact. That’s it.
What happens on a fail?
Written punch list with photos on site, fix while you’re mobilized if possible, retest scheduled immediately.
Which registry do you use?
CHEERS — California’s energy code registry. If your old projects were in CalCERTS, see our transfer service.
Are you independent?
Fully. We don’t install, repair, or sell equipment — required for third-party verification, and the reason our reports carry weight with plan checkers and inspectors.
